Shatterproof 5K Walk/Run on September 23 an amazing experience!

Over 1,800 gathered at Franklin Park, determined to shatter the stigma of addiction and to transform the way the disease is treated in America. You raised over $334,000 and we’re deeply grateful for your support! Please continue to Rise Up Against Addiction and fundraise  for this important cause.

Event Schedule:

8:00 AM – Site Opens 
9:00 AM – Program Begins 
9:30 AM – 5K Walk/Run Starts

*Walk start time is approximate as walkers will start immediately after all runners have crossed the start line

Walker registration is free

Runner registration fee:
$30 until 10 days before the event
$40 - 9 days before event
$50 - day of event
*Note: Pick up your runner’s bib with timing chip between 8am and 9am at the Runner Bib Pick-Up tent.

Parking Info:
Parking is limited. Carpooling and public transit is highly encouraged.

Train – Orange Line to Glen Road Entrance in Jamaica Plain:
Orange Line to Green Street stop, exit out front doors of station and walk right on Green Street. Continue straight when Green St. becomes Glenn Rd. Glen Rd. dead ends in 
the park. Walk into the park along paved path – when it ends vear right to the Playstead.

Bus - The #16 runs between the Andrew T stop on the Red Line (through Uphams Corner and along Columbia Road) and Forest Hills Station on the Orange Line. It stops at the  main park entrance on Blue Hill Ave. near the front of the Zoo and close to the Golf Clubhouse.

Parking - ADA, VIP and Volunteers: Please proceed to the Playstead entrance at Circuit Drive and N. Jewish War Vets Dr. to be directed by Park Rangers. Street parking is permitted on Circuit Drive throughout the park on Circuit Drive.
