Rise Up Against Addiction with Me

Kinslow Kickin' Butt

Kinslow Kickin' Butt

Welcome to our team fundraising page! Thank you for visiting. We are participating in the Shatterproof Rise Up Against Addiction 5K Walk/Run on October 13, 2019. Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the devastation addiction causes families. Every dollar we raise together will work to ensure that every American with a substance use disorder has access to treatment that’s based on proven research. The Shatterproof mission is very important to us—and we know, with the support of good people like you, we can make a big difference. May we count on your support? Join our team or make a donation today! Whether you give $50, $25, or $10, any amount will help change lives. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Together, we are stronger than addiction. We Are Shatterproof!

If you've landed on this page, you're probably familiar with my story. My mom was an alcoholic for most of my life, and passed away a few years ago because of it. Now, I am helping a friend deal with it as her sister is in the early stages of alcoholism. It's time we step up and start making moves to classify this problem as a disease and work to find ways for successful treatment. Join me in NYC, you can run or walk, or consider making a donation! Even a dollar is so greatly appreciated, I would be over the moon to know you support me and this cause.

Todd and I will run too! I’ve seen way too much of this disease change and hurt people I love, Katie. You’re doing a great thing here. Love you, sis.

Miss her everyday. Back in the day she was my best friend and a great sister until the addition took over. Now she is my guardian angel. Feel her around me all the time.
