Please join us in remembering William Pickering Jones III by participating in the Shatterproof Rise Up Against Addiction 5K Walk/Run on October 13, 2019.
William lost his battle and passed away at the age of 27 on December 25, 2018. William was born on December 12th, 1991, to William P. Jones Jr. and Elizabeth Higgins Jones (Betsy and Bill). He was the beloved big brother of Julia, Catherine, and Elizabeth.
William was a second-year law student at Fordham University, where he was hoping to pursue a career in public service. He had beautiful mind and was passionate about everything he did.
He lived his life according to Ian Maclaren's belief: "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the devastation addiction causes families. Every dollar we raise together will work to ensure that every American with a substance use disorder has access to treatment that’s based on proven research. The Shatterproof mission is very important to us—and we know, with the support of good people like you, we can make a big difference.
Join us in honoring William and all those who have fought and continue to fight the battle. Together, we are stronger than addiction.
We Are Shatterproof!
